A Special Presentation by Lockheed Martin Vice President of Engineering

Ronald F. Paulson, vice president of engineering at Lockheed Martin, is the guest speaker at the Order of the Engineer Ceremony sponsored by Lockheed Martin and the Engineering Student Council on Thursday, February 26, 2004 at 6:30 p.m. at the University of Maryland Golf Course Club House.

Paulson has 35 years of experience in aerospace management, engineering and research and development. He is currently responsible for all engineering activities for the Lockheed Martin Corporate Engineering and Technology Staff at Corporate Headquarters in Bethesda, Maryland, including evaluating business unit programs for engineering problems and recommending corrective actions, overseeing the implementation of the integrated engineering process and serving as the focal point for engineering training and development.

Paulson holds a Ph.D. in mechanical engineering with minors in physics and mathematics from the University of Minnesota and a Masters of Science in management from Stanford University.

This event is free and open to the campus community. A reception will follow.

To participate in the Order of the Engineer Ceremony, you must register by February 18, 2004. Ceremony participation costs $25.
